Assisted the Executive Director of WFP, James T. Morris, in his transition in retirement from WFP, which included detailing the history of WFP from 2002 to 2007, covering such diverse topics as Child Hunger, Darfur, The Iraq War, Pakistan Earthquake, HIV/Aids Orphans, and The Tsunami.
Attended Congressional testimony given by the Executive Director on Ending Child Hunger to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (Washington, DC, September 2006)
Attended as honored guest a dinner with Koffi Annan, Secretary General of the UN, at the home of James T. Morris, Executive Director of WFP
 
WFP Site Visits
Spent two weeks in Kampala and Gulu, Uganda on personal trip to learn about WFP operations in the field, visiting orphanages, hospitals, schools, night walkers, and IDP camps in the war district of Northern Uganda, where over 13,000 people were fed in one camp in a single day
Participated as team member of the UN Special Envoy Mission to Southern Africa which included meetings with Heads of State, donors, NGOs, recipients, and press covering South Africa, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique
Visited WFP technology depot and operations hub in Dubai for the FITTEST Technology Force for Global Disasters
Visited WFP depot for logistics in Brindisi, Italy, where the emergency supplies for the Emergency Network are stored
